All bookings are subject to these terms and conditions. Jack & Nick’s reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions when deemed necessary, and you, the client agree to these terms.
All charges are set out on the price list. The client agrees to these charges for the services booked.

60-minute Group Dog

Prices are as follows;
60-minute Group Dog Walk - £13.50 (£8.00 per extra dog from same household)
45-minute Solo Dog Walk - £15.50
20-minute Solo Dog Walk - £10.00
20-minute Home Visits - £10.00 (£7.00 per extra visit a day)
45-minute Home Visits -£15.50
Invoices are sent out weekly (on a Sunday) and will be for the services provided for each day during the previous week.
All payments must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date either by cash, or bank transfer. Bank account details are provided on each invoice.
For all the services, NO booking will be confirmed without the relevant forms, and terms and conditions being received and signed.
Jack & Nick's will keep hold of the completed booking form/terms and conditions for as long as the client wishes to use the services. If services are no longer required the form will be deleted. If a client wishes to return, a new booking form/terms and conditions must be filled out.
The client gives Jack & Nick’s permission to enter and visit their property to carry out the booked service.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure their pet is up-to-date with vaccinations, flea/tick and worming treatments (proof may be required). Jack & Nick’s reserves the right to refuse a booking if the animal is not up-to-date with vaccinations and worming/flea treatment.
Jack & Nick’s is not held liable for any injury or damage caused or incurred by the client’s pet escaping because of faulty or ill-fitting collar/harness.
Jack & Nick’s may terminate any booking/agreement immediately if it thought the pet is badly behaved or aggressive either towards humans, animals or property. The client is liable if the pet injures any person, or another animal or damages property.
Jack & Nick’s must be told of any characteristics or traits that could void insurance cover and cause for pets to be unsuitable for walking or home visits. Any dog in a public place MUST wear a collar with contact details of the owner or written on it, or on a tag, whether the dog is microchipped or not.
For pets that are micro-chipped it is the owner’s responsibility to ensure the correct details are held by the necessary company, in the unlikely event their pet is lost.
Jack & Nick’s is insured for Public Liability.
The client must ensure that their pet is in good health and free from fleas and adequately wormed. If Jack & Nick’s believes that your pet is not in good health, we reserve the right to seek veterinary advice on your behalf and you will be liable for the veterinary fees. If it becomes necessary, your animal will be taken to a veterinary surgeon. You are responsible for any veterinary fees that are reasonably incurred during your absence or during the course of care. A maximum amount to spend will also be agreed beforehand.
All efforts are made to contact the client in the event of an emergency. We recommend owners provide us with the contact details of at least two trusted 3rd parties should we be unable to make contact. However, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding your pet’s health provided it is at all times acting in the best interests of the animal on the advice of a veterinary surgeon. You, the client is responsible for the payment of any veterinary fees incurred by us.
Jack & Nick's has a flexible approach to cancellations. While notice is preferred, Jack & Nicks does not charge for last minute cancellations.
Weekends and Bank holidays are available at the standard rate. No extra charges.
Photos and videos will be taken during walks/home visits. This is only for promotional purposes or posting on social media accounts and websites for Jack & Nick's. They will not be used in any other way.

Dogs will NOT be let off the lead, unless owner permission has been granted and the locality is suitable. Jack & Nick's will use own judgement as to when a dog is let off lead depending on recall and general behaviour. Sometimes the use of long lines or dropped leads is preferred. The client is liable if the dog injures any person or another animal or damages property while off lead or loose.
Jack & Nick’s will walk the dog as described on the booking form for not less than the time and on the dates booked from the client’s address unless another address is specified.
The client will either ensure that access is given to Jack & Nick’s to collect the dog from the agreed address at the agreed time, or give Jack & Nick’s a key to the place where the dog is kept. Jack & Nick’s will use the key to collect and return the dog and for no other purpose and will keep it safe, not let anyone else have it and will return it to the owner upon demand.
Jack & Nick’s will apply personal judgement and cut short a walk, if necessary, because of extreme weather conditions (i.e., heat, thunderstorms) for the safety of both the dog(s) and walker.
Group walks are a maximum of 4 dogs at once and are for dog friendly dogs only.
Jack & Nick's will provide poo bags, towels and treats and also will use own leads.
The client accepts that Jack & Nick’s is not liable for injury, disappearance or death of any pet that has access to the outdoors. The client accepts that the use of a cat flap increases the risk of accident to the cat’s safety.

The client must provide all items necessary for pets to be cared for in the client’s absence (i.e., food, water, medication, cat litter, leads, tags, collars etc). Should pets require any additional supplies whilst in the care of Jack & Nick’s, these will be purchased and added to the final bill.
Jack & Nick’s advice clients to notify neighbours that Jack & Nick’s will be visiting the client’s home in their absence.
The client gives Jack & Nick’s permission to enter and visit their property to carry out the booked service at the pre-arranged time and date specified.
Jack & Nick’s will make adequate steps to ensure your home is safe and secure in your absence, however Jack & Nick’s cannot be held responsible for any burglaries or accidents caused by your pet(s).
